Privacy Policy

SideBay is a product of Ironforge Studios and a shop-management service operated by Ironforge Studios. This policy explains how information is handled when a shop uses SideBay or sends a customer a SideBay approval or reminder link.

Information we collect

• Account information supplied through Sign in with ChatGPT, including name and email address.
• Shop information, team-member access, settings, customer and vehicle records, estimates, work orders, invoices, payment records, notes, signatures, audit events, and uploaded job photos.
• Subscription identifiers from Stripe. SideBay does not store complete card numbers or card security codes.
• Basic technical and security information needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

How information is used

We use information to provide and secure SideBay, save shop records, generate documents, manage subscriptions, deliver requested customer communications, provide support, prevent abuse, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

SideBay relies on service providers for hosting and sign-in, payment processing, and email delivery. Vehicle identification numbers submitted for decoding are sent to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration vPIC service. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Shop responsibilities

Each shop controls the customer and vehicle records it enters. Shops are responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any consent required before uploading personal information, photos, sending email, or using native-device text-message shortcuts.

Retention, export, and deletion

Shop records remain available while the account is maintained and may be retained as reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, legal obligations, and backups. Shop owners can export their data from SideBay. Requests to close an account or delete data can be sent to quotes@ironforge-studios.com. Some records may be retained when legally required.

Security and children

We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. SideBay is a business service and is not intended for use by children under 18.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service or law changes. Material updates will be reflected by a new effective date. Questions can be sent to quotes@ironforge-studios.com.
